DODGEVILLE - Sugar River junior Hannah Kernen had a soccer game every player may dream about as she scored seven goals to spark the Raiders to a 9-0 shutout of Dodgeville Monday.
Kernen, a two-time all-state player, scored three goals in the first eight minutes against the Dodgers. Kernen scored her first goal at the 3 minute mark. Then 40 seconds later, she scored off a pass from Katie Viney. After Kernen scored her third goal unassisted, Viney again had an assist to Kernen to give the Raiders a 4-0 lead at 57:47.
Trisha Boley and Elle Joseph each added goals. Lauren Narveson had two assists. Sugar River (4-0) has not given up a goal all year.
