Juda, Black Hawk come out on top

ALBANY - Juda senior MacKenzie Byrne racked up 18 assists, 18 digs and four aces to lead the Panthers to a sweep over Albany Tuesday.

Juda (4-5 Six Rivers East) rolled to a 25-18, 25-10, 26-24 win over the Comets. Juda's Maddie Roth had a team-high seven kills. Juda's Zoe Rothsack delivered five kills and five blocks.

Albany (0-9 Six Rivers East) was led by junior Libby Beck who had six kills and nine digs. Junior teammate Sydney Bloedel dished out 10 assists and junior Payton Zurfluh added nine digs.



Black Hawk 3,

Pecatonica 1

SOUTH WAYNE - Black Hawk sophomore Hannah Butler piled up 18 kills to lead the Warriors to a 25-10, 25-16, 21-25, 25-21 win over Pecatonica Tuesday.

Black Hawk senior Hannah Herbst racked up 18 assists and freshman Bailey Butler had 12 kills. Junior Sydney Delzer posted three blocks and Teearia Sweeney had four aces.

Pecatonica's Grace Keast delivered nine kills and 13 digs to lead the Vikings. Senior teammate Taetum Pagel dished out 23 assists and Sami Holstrom had three aces. Senior Ninah McKeon added two blocks.



Cambridge 3,

New Glarus 0

CAMBRIDGE - Nicole Peterson had a match-high 12 kills and three assists to help Cambridge roll past New Glarus 25-12, 25-18, 25-21 Tuesday.

New Glarus senior Willow Lee and junior Megan Bellefeuille each had four kills. Senior teammate Julia Barnaby posted a team-high seven blocks. New Glarus senior Riley Parker had 12 assists and two blocks. Senior teammate Olivia Xistris had a team-best 10 digs and Zoe Moen notched two aces. With the loss, New Glarus drops to 0-8 Capitol South.
