Juda, Albany routed over weekend

CLINTON - Juda closed out the Clinton Thanksgiving Tournament with a 60-49 loss to Deerfield Saturday.

The Demons outscored the Panthers 16-10 in the second quarter to open up a 27-20 halftime lead.

Juda sophomore Joey Jordan scored a team-high 14 points to lead the Panthers. Junior Dylan Bauman scored 11 points, while Bryan Bauman and Brandon Bauman chipped in eight points each.

Beloit Turner 71, Albany 34

BELOIT - Bryce Hulbert and Boomer Detra combined for 24 points, but it wasn't enough as the Comets lost their season opener 71-34 to Beloit Turner, Saturday.

Turner raced out to a 19-4 first-quarter lead, and the lead ballooned to 18-points by halftime. Hulbert, a junior, scored 14 points and Detra added 10.
