MONTICELLO - Monticello High School will be hosting the Hoosier School of Basketball from Friday, May 31 through Sunday, June 2. An advanced camp will be held at the high school from Friday, June 7 through Sunday, June 9.

The camp is directed by Woody Wilson, an assistant coach at St. Norbert College.

The camp is open to boys and girls entering grades four through 12. Each session is planned daily to meet the needs of the campers. Skills covered in the sessions are ball handling, passing, dribbling, techniques of shooting, offensive moves, screening and receiving screens. A good portion of the camp will be devoted to team play, three-on-three, four-on-four and five-on-five.

The Hoosier School staff will teach the campers the proper way to play the game of basketball. The importance of developing a winning attitude, learning good work habits and understanding the importance of team play will be stressed.
