The Platteville boys soccer team has been a thorn in the side for Monroe.
The Hillmen cashed in on an indirect kick in the 60th minute to hand the Cheesemakers a 1-0 loss Saturday. It marked the Cheesemakers' third straight loss and second this season to the Hillmen.
Monroe (3-6, 0-2 Badger South) have now been shut out in three straight games.
Monroe coach Tony Stamm said the Cheesemakers dominated the game with 18 shots on goal, but couldn't score.
"We are going to just have to work on our accuracy for shots on goal," Stamm said.
The Cheesemakers and Hillmen played to a scoreless first half. The scoreless game was broken up in the 60th minute when Jake Millarv scored on a direct kick.
Monroe senior goal keeper Dan Becker had 12 saves.
