What: Home Talent League All-Stars vs. Military All-Stars

When: Sunday at 6:05 p.m. at the Duck Pond in Madison

How much: $4 tickets can be purchased from the Madison Mallards or your area HTL clubs.

MADISON - Five area Home Talent League baseball players will play in an All-Star game against the Military All-Stars at 6:05 p.m. Sunday at the Duck Pond, home of the Madison Mallards.

The area Home Talent League All-Stars selected to play in the game include Rooney Janecke, of Monroe; Stein Rear, of New Glarus; Ben Wallace, of Argyle; Josh Hathaway, of Blancherdville and Brandon Ihm, of Hollandale.

The game is part of the Northwoods League All-Star festivities, which are hosted by the Mallards.

The Northwoods All-Star game will take place Monday.

Sunday's festivities will include the Mallards Fan Fest starting at 2 p.m. when the gates open.

At 4:30 p.m., the Northwoods League Home Run Derby will be held, showcasing a member from each of the 14 teams in the league.

The fireworks from the derby will be followed by pre-game warm-ups for the HTL and Military stars and introductions.

Tickets for the event are $4 and can be obtained from the teams or from the Madison Mallards.

Children attending will receive a coupon for a soft drink, hot dog and bag of chips.
