MONROE - Badger Boosters Days will return Monday, June 21, and Tuesday, June 22.

This is the 57th year for the event, which includes golf, live music and speeches from University of Wisconsin coaches.

All the proceeds from donations and fees for the events go directly to the UW Athletic Department, which then uses the money for equipment and other needs of all the university's sports programs.

In 2009, the event raised $72,854 for Badger sports programs.

There will be golf both days, a Hawaiian Beach Party Monday night and the annual Badger Sports Dinner Tuesday evening.

Golfing tees off at 6:45 a.m. both days, with tennis, swimming, billiards, basketball and cards going on all day at Monroe resident Pat Kubly's backyard, 621 14th Ave. A shuttle will run approximately every 20 minutes from motels to the home. At 4 p.m., the beach party begins with cocktails, snacks and dinner. Identification must be shown in order to drink alcoholic beverages.

The UW Marching Band and Spirit Squad will perform at 5 p.m. At 6 p.m., John Powless, former Badger tennis player inducted into the school hall of fame, will perform a tennis exhibition. Powless also coached players such as Arthur Ashe and Dennis Ralston.

A luau dinner starts at 6:30 p.m., with food serving until 9 p.m. Entertainment will be performed by Barefoot Hawaiian Dancers. Door prizes will take place at 8:45 p.m., and you must be in attendance to win.

If there is inclement weather, the events will be held at the Ludlow Mansion.

On Tuesday, the sports banquet starts at 5 p.m. at the Ludlow Mansion, with dinner and speeches by UW head coaches beginning at 7 p.m.

Tickets for individuals is $75 dollars for the Monday dinner and party, and Tuesday's banquet, with a reservation listed. For one day of golf and a two-person party, the cost is $385 dollars. A one person party pass and a day of golf is $325. The two days of golf for two parties is $525, with everything included.

There are five sponsorship levels at this year's event. The Bronze Level is a hole sponsorship for the golf events. For $150, you can get your corporate name on two signs on the tee or green at the Monroe Country Club both days and your listing in the program for Tuesday's banquet dinner.

The Silver Level, a $300 to $499 sponsorship, allows signs on the golf course, a program listing, a name on all the raffle tickets (over 3,000) and advertisements in The Monroe Times.

The Gold Level ($500 to $999) adds your name to the donator board for Monday's beach party and the Platinum Level ($1,000 to $4,999) gets a listing at the Country Club throughout the event, plus a hat sponsorship with your company name and logo on every hat (a minimum $2,500 donation).

Lastly, a V.I.P. Sponsor ($5,000 and up) gets a banner on the stage Monday evening, plus special recognition throughout the party.

All artwork for sponsorships should be camera-ready and can be sent to Berry@sccompanies.com.
