MONTICELLO - Maya Kramer hit two doubles and drove in six runs and the New Glarus High School softball team outlasted Monticello 19-13 Friday in a game that featured 24 hits and 27 walks.
The Glarner Knights had 16 hits. Kramer was 3-for-5. Ashley Judd was 3-for-3 and also walked three times. Noelle Austin, Grace Moen and Nikki Bushee each had two hits and two RBI. Lydia Sprecher walked four times and scored five runs. Austin, Sprecher, Moen and Jessica Van Dusen all had doubles.
Chandler Hanson was 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs scored for Monticello. Jessie Garrison was 2-for-3 with two RBI.
