MONROE - Softball clinics are starting for third- through eighth-grade girls, with three sessions offered. The fielding clinic will be from noon to 2 p.m. Feb. 11, the hitting clinic will be from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 11, and the pitching clinic will be from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 18, all in the Monroe High School practice gym.
The instructors will be MHS softball coach Joe O'Lesky and staff.
All participants should enter through the M-room doors and meet in the M-room first. Participants should each bring a ball glove with their names on them, a water bottle and a hat.
Registration may be completed online at www.cityofmonroe.org or at the temporary Parks and Recreation office in the Streets Department, 1064 5th Ave. There is a fee.
