ARGYLE - As the temperatures rose Saturday, so did the Orioles' Amber Thomas and Tina Dammen.

Argyle's senior duo scored 17 and 16 points, respectively, in the Orioles' 58-43 non-conference victory over Rock Valley's Parkview at home.

Thomas had two triples and Dammen one before she fouled out. Brittany Flannery added nine as Argyle (7-4 overall) never wavered after building at 29-18 lead at halftime on the Vikings (5-4 overall).

WISCONSIN HEIGHTS 48, MONTICELLO 36

The Hilliard sisters battled each other for the scoring high for the Ponies, but Heights had too much balance for Monticello to overcome.

Monticello senior MacKenzie Hilliard had 12, while younger sister sophomore Sadi dropped in 10 during the Ponies (0-9 overall) 48-36 non-conference loss Saturday at home to the Vanguards (5-3 overall).

Ali Wilkinson had 13 to lead Heights and Kaia Friske added 10 in the victory.
