Freezing rain and icy conditions

Monday forced the postponement

or cancellation of five

area girls basketball games

on the Martin Luther King

holiday.

Some of the games that

were postponed were

rescheduled and others are

still awaiting new dates.

The following games slated

for Monday were affected:

Albany at Potosi, postponed

to Jan. 24

Argyle at Wisconsin

Heights, no rescheduled date

set

Barneveld at Juda, no

rescheduled date set

Mineral Point at

Pecatonica, canceled

New Glarus at

Evansville, no rescheduled

date set
