Fury stay hot, top Stoughton

BELOIT - Zoe Steig scored three goals and freshman Anika Einbeck had two goals to lead the Rock County Fury girls hockey team to an 8-0 win over Stoughton Tuesday.

Five different players scored for the Fury, who improved to 6-1-1 overall and 2-0 in the Badger South. Maggy Henschler, Haley Knauf and Abby Humphrey each added one goal. Henschler had three assists and Burke had two assists. Other players with assists included Alyssa Knauf, Sam Wells, Haley Knauf, Cammi Ganshert, Einbeck and Dani Heitsman. The Fury outshot the Icebergs 50-13.

The Fury are hosting Bay Area at 6 p.m. Friday at SLICE Arena in Monroe. The game will be one of two that will be played in Monroe this season.
