BELLEVILLE - The Sugar River Raiders looked to senior Jon Fox with the game on the line, and Fox delivered in the Raiders 3-2 win over Cambridge-Deerfield.
Trailing 2-0 entering the second half, Sugar River rallied, getting a goal from freshman Travis Loeffelholz in the 45th minute Tuesday.
That's when Fox took over. The two-year first-team all-Capitol South player scored in the 58th minute on an assist from Wilson Marques and added a penalty kick goal at 72:40 to put the Raiders up for good.
Alex Gocht had eight saves in goal for Sugar River, which will travel to Watertown Luther Prep Thursday.
