Monroe held Pec-Argyle to a four and out and started the next offensive drive at midfield. The Blaze kept the ball on the ground and marched down to the 3 before Foley kicked a 20-yard field goal for an 11-6 lead with 1:45 remaining in the game. After playing a strong game, Monroe's defense was not able to come up with a big play and allowed Pec-Argyle to travel 73-yards and score a touchdown on a hook and ladder play on third-and-10 from 33-yards out.
