MONROE - The Monroe Mat Rats had an action packed weekend wrestling in two tournaments Saturday and Sunday.
Four wrestlers placed at the Iowa-Grant tournament Saturday. Nick Schumacher and Dempzy Foley each took second place in the third-, fourth-grade division. Hayden Arneson and McKenzy Foley each took first in the fifth- and sixth-grade age group.
At Marshall Saturday, Bodie Minder finished first in the kindergarten through second-grade group. Cole Murray and Troy Gorr both took second place in their respective levels.
At the Janesville tournament Sunday, Patrick Rielly finished first, Minder took second and Max Haffele took second in the Kindergarten through second-grade division. Sam Kind finished first in the third-fourth-grade division.
