DARLINGTON - Darlington sophomore Amy Jorgenson's last second 3-pointer went hard off the back iron and the Redbirds lost a thriller.

With 3.4 seconds left, the Redbirds drew up an inbounds play from the sideline. Jorgenson had a good look at the basket on a well executed play, but just barely missed.

Both teams were tied at 24 in a seesaw battle at halftime. Darlington carried a 32-28 lead into the fourth quarter. The Panthers outscored the Redbirds 15-9 in the fourth quarter to seal the win.

Ashley Martin scored a game-high 16 points to lead the Redbirds. Junior Carley McDonald added eight points.
