MADISON — The Monroe-New Glarus girls swim team had strong efforts in their dual meet against Edgewood’s depth on Sept. 16, but the Crusaders prevailed 114-56.
Megan Chapman won both the 200 (2:03.19) and 500 (5:28.14) freestyle events, while Bella Miranda posted a lifetime best in the 100 breaststroke (1:14.86). Lauren Zentner swam a season-best time in the 50 (26.55) and 100 (59.13) freestyle and Anna Zentner added a season-best in the 100 butterfly (1:06.80).
