MONROE - Registration has started for the 44th annual city doubles tennis tournament.
The doubles tournament is sponsored by the Monroe Parks and Recreation Department and is slated for Saturday and Sunday.
Each team is guaranteed two matches. The four brackets include: Men's Class A, the championship bracket; Men's Class B, for intermediate players; Women's Open for ages 14 and older; and Youth for ages 14 and younger for boys and girls.
The fee this year is $24 for teams 14 and older and $14 for teams 14 and younger.
The Women's Open and Youth 14 and younger will start play 8 a.m. Saturday at Recreation Park followed by the men's brackets at 12:15 p.m. The finals will be played Sunday.
