Disc golf course expansion moving along

MONROE - The nine-hole Twining Park disc golf course is progressing toward improvements and an expansion to an 18-hole layout, with a Madison-based company scheduled to complete its assessment of the course this spring. Glide Disc Sports, out of Madison, reviewed the existing course late last fall and will be coming back this spring to plan where an additional nine holes can be added, Monroe Park Director Paul Klinzing said. "They had come down last fall to look at what we had," Klinzing said.
