MONROE - The accolades keep rolling in for the Monticello volleyball team.

Monticello senior C.J. Dilley was named the Six Rivers East Conference's Player of the Year recently. Dilley was also honored as a first team all-conference setter. Sophomore teammate Marissa Berg was also a first team all-conference middle hitter. Dilley and Berg helped lead the Ponies to a conference championship and a regional final run where the Ponies lost to Catholic Central. Monticello finished 11-1 in the Six Rivers East and won the conference by two wins over Argyle (9-3).

Argyle senior Micala Peterson as an outside hitter and Argyle senior Abby Flanagan as a middle hitter were also first team all-conference selections. The other area first team all-conference player was Black Hawk sophomore Jen Wellnitz at middle hitter.

The Orioles had two players named second team all-conference including junior setter Kayla Ostby and senior middle hitter Danielle Treuthardt. The other area second team all-conference selections included Juda senior C.J. Dunwiddie at outside hitter, Black Hawk senior middle hitter Kate Quinn and Pecatonica junior middle hitter Lizzy Britt.

The Ponies had three players who were honorable mention all-conference including junior Jordyn Kubly, senior Katie Giehart and senior Desiree Marty. The three honorable mention all-conference players from Albany included junior Cassidy Bump, junior Kirstie Kauk and senior Jordan Neuenschwander. Juda senior Courtney Moisan and senior Morgan Kamholz were also named honorable mention. Black Hawk junior Abby Schiferl and senior Chaesta Shager were named honorable mention. The other two area honorable mention players were Argyle senior Cortney Gilbertson and Pecatonica senior Alison Swenson.
