Deadline for basketball drills and skills camp Wednesday

MONROE - The 2018 Winter Basketball Drills and Skills Camp registration ends Wednesday, when program T-shirts will be ordered. This basketball camp is for second through sixth 6th grade boys and girls. Athletes will be split into smaller groups based on number of participants, keeping the younger and older children separate.

The program will be from 2:30 to 4 p.m. on early release Mondays, Jan. 15, 22 and29 and Feb. 5 and 12 at the Monroe High School in the practice gym.

Participants may ride any bus from Northside Elementary School, St. Victor Elementary School, Parkside Elementary School and Monroe Middle School to the high school. Somebody will be at the bus stop to help the participants get to the program. Abraham Lincoln Elementary School students will walk over to the high school, where someone will help them. Children should enter the M-room doors and meet in the M-room first.

Everyone will receive a coupon to attend the MHS girls varsity home game at 7:15 p.m. Jan. 30 and a coupon to attend the MHS boys varsity home game at 7:15 p.m. Feb. 22.
