JUDA - Tabatha Davis was named the Six Rivers East Conference Player of the Year recently.
Davis, a Juda-Albany senior, was also named first-team all-conference as a pitcher. Davis compiled a 17-5 record with a 0.88 ERA and 152 strikeouts.
Monticello, which repeated as the conference champions, had six players named first-team all-conference including senior catcher Marissa Berg, junior infielder Jordan Garrison and junior infielder Alyssah Kubly.
The Ponies had two outfielders named all-conference including senior Clare Gietzel and junior Samantha DeVoe. Monticello senior Claire Bruns and Pecatonica senior Julia Meyer were first-team all-conference at-large selections.
Juda-Albany senior infielder Morganne Goecks and Black Hawk senior infielder Tessa Cushman were also named first-team. Black Hawk senior Jen Wellnitz was first-team all-conference as an outfielder.
