DARLINGTON - The Redbirds dominated both the boys and girls sides of a 3-team SWAL meet Monday. Darlington's boys team won with 115 out of the 149 possible points, and the girls collected 81 points to Cuba City's 76.
The Redbirds won both the boys and girls 3,200-meter relays. The boys team also won the 800 and 1,600 relays. The girls added a first-place finish in the 1,600 relay.
Darlington's Kayla Lange won the girls' 100 meter dash (13.9 seconds), while Cedric Flesher won the boys race (12.18).
Tatum Evenstad won the girls 1,600 (6:20.42), Hannah Huffman took home top honors in the 400 (1:05.55), and Sam Paquette finished first in the 300 hurdles (54.64). Shae Johnson won the 800 (3:08.02), Carly Reilly finished first in the 200 (28.55) and Claire Cullen had top honors in the 3,200 (14:08.54.)
Mitchell Langkamp won the 400 on the boys side (54.44) and Sam Johnson won the 300 hurdles (47.67). Alex Erickson was first in the 800 (2:15.08) and Flesher was first in the 200 (24.27).
Cassidy Chambers won the high jump (5-feet) and Sydney Schulte took top honors in the pole vault (8-6) for Darlington. Hailey McGowan won the discus (94-11) and McKenzie Pickett finished first in the shot put (35-3.5).
