The Redbirds received pins from junior Colton Hackett at 171 pounds, senior Tanner Andrews (189) and junior Brandon Heins (215). Hackett pinned Cuba City-Southwestern's Skylar Weigel in 1 minute, 43 seconds. Andrews pinned Chris Crooks in 3:16. Heins pinned Nathan Poll in 58 seconds.
Darlington's Coty Lange (152) defeated John Frederick 8-5. At 160, Darlington's Eli Humphrey defeated Cody Ryan 6-1.
Senior heavyweight Mark Brugger defeated Mike Loeffelholz 3-0. Fellow senior Devin Malott, who is ranked fifth at 125 in the Crossface Division 3 poll, received a forfeit at 119.
