DARLINGTON - The Darlington wrestling team opened its season with a 42-31 win over Boscobel Friday night.
The Redbirds posted eight wins. Darlington sophomore Bo Brunkow at 112 pounds pinned Boscobel's Cameron Cashman in 1 minute, 11 seconds. The other pins for the Redbirds came from Colton Hackett (171), Bruce King (189) and Tanner Andrews (215).
Darlington senior Devin Malott (130) defeated Nate Mindham 6-0 and Joey Meylor (119) defeated Logan Jones 4-1.
