DARLINGTON - The Darlington school board unanimously approved renewing a girls golf co-op with Cuba City Monday night.
The Darlington-Cuba City girls golf co-op, which was started in 2008, has to be renewed every two years. Darlington Athletic Director Brian Bennett said the school was contacted by Cuba City to renew the co-op. The Southwest Wisconsin Activities League and the WIAA will now have to approve the co-op.
"From our standpoint, it has worked out fairly well," Bennett said.
The co-op agreement will have to be filed with the WIAA by Feb. 1. Bennett will take the two-year co-op request to the league's athletic directors' meeting Jan. 27 for approval.
