Dahl, Comets roll over Juda

JUDA - Albany senior Tyler Dahl scored a game-high 23 points to help the Comets roll to a 61-45 win over Juda Friday night.

Dahl made 7 of 10 free throws and hit eight shots to lead the Comets. Albany's Logan Ross added 11 points. Albany senior Connor Trow and junior Brock Gilkes each chipped in nine points.

Juda junior Keagen Haffele scored a team-high 14 points to lead the Panthers. Juda juniors Skyler Stuckey and Joe Rackow each added nine points.

The Panthers shot just 47.6 percent from the free-throw line (10 of 21) compared to 68.7 percent for the Comets (11 of 16).



Black Hawk 58, Monticello 47

MONTICELLO - The Black Hawk boys basketball team won its third straight game by knocking off the Ponies.

Black Hawk (3-0, 2-0 Six Rivers East) used an 11-2 run to build an 11-point lead at the half.

Monticello senior Logan Marty scored a team-high 15 points. With the loss, Monticello drops to 0-5, 0-2.



Barneveld 79, Argyle 69

BARNEVELD - Matthew Myers scored a game-high 24 points to lead Barneveld to a 79-69 win ovr Argyle.

Barneveld jumped out to a 42-21 lead in the first half. The Orioles outscord the Eagles 48-37 in the second half.

"It was the tale of two halves," Argyle coach Justin Jenson said.

Argyle senior Riley Ostby scored a team-high 16 points. Argyle's Rafa Puentevlla added 13 points and junior Collin Argue chipped in nine points.
