MONROE - The 40th annual city mixed doubles tennis tournament is slated for Saturday and Sunday. This is the last of the three summer tennis tournaments, sponsored by the Monroe Park and Recreation Department.
The tournament is open to anyone and the fee is $24 per team. All teams are guaranteed two matches with T-shirts given to the first-place, second-place, third-place and consolation-winning teams.
The tournament will begin at noon Saturday at Recreation Park.
