STOUGHTON - The Monroe volleyball team found its spark Tuesday after losing the first two games of its match at Stoughton.
After falling 25-22 and 25-13, Monroe rallied to win with 25-17, 25-20 and 15-11 victories in the final three games to improve to 8-6 overall and 2-2 in Badger South play.
The spark came from senior setter Kayla Streff, who had 18 assists and nine service aces in the contest.
"It was unbelievable. She really had it going," Monroe coach Dave Gersbach said. "Kayla really stepped it up and played well. As a team, we finally got it going late, but Kayla has been playing really well."
Jamie Armstrong had 20 kills, eight digs and four blocks for the Cheesemakers. Chelsea Wyss had eight kills and three blocks, and Emily Rufenacht had nine digs for Monroe.
