The Cheesemakers had to work hard to win in the doubles. The No. 1 doubles team of Patrick Gellings and Garrett Tschanz handled the Vikings' No.1 doubles team of Zack Opheim and John Evans, 6-1, 6-0. At No. 2 doubles, Jakob Baertschi and Cristian Noriega earned a hard-fought 7-5, 7-5 win over Stoughton's Sam Schulz and Ryan Leroy. The No. 3 doubles team of Luke Molinaro and Luke Andraski fell to Will Sharp and Nick Clerkin of Stoughton, 7-5, 6-2.
"Overall, we played another nice match tonight," said Monroe head coach Brad Saugstad. "(No.) 1, 2, 3 singles and (No.) 1 doubles took care of business pretty easily. They jumped out to big leads and never let their opponents get any momentum."
