MONROE - The Cheese Days Chase will be held Saturday, Sept. 20 in downtown Monroe. The race includes multiple distances: a 5K run, 10K run, 2-mile walk/fun run, and kids races. Klondike Cheese Company is sponsoring the Cheese Days Chase.
Bib-timers will be used for the 5K and 10K runs. The 5K, 10K and walk will begin at 9 a.m. and the kids races will begin at 8:30 a.m. All who pre-register by Aug. 30 will receive a T-shirt; shirts are not guaranteed for those who do not pre-register.
An awards ceremony will follow the race at Minhas Brewery lot. Awards will be given for the Cheese Days Chase for male and female by age divisions for first, second and third place. Cheese Days Chase participants will receive cheese sandwiches and a beverage.
