BRODHEAD - Homecoming worked out well for the Brodhead-Juda football team Friday. The Cardinals collected 409 yards of offense - including 350 on the ground - in a 41-15 rout of Orfordville Parkview.
Jesse Delorme got things rolling for Brodhead-Juda in the first quarter, scoring on a 47-yard run with 2 minutes, 55 seconds left in the first. Alex Wallace added an 8-yard run with 36 ticks left in the opening frame to put the Cardinals up 13-0.
Brodhead-Juda's Gavin Garrett scored from 3-yards out with 7:07 left in the second quarter to make it a 19-0 ball game. Later in the half, quarterback David Earleywine connected with Michael Peterson from 16 yards out to make it 27-0.
Moments later the Vikings got on the board when Kyle Woodworth and Time Heller connected on a 70-yard touchdown pass.
In the third quarter, Peterson caught his second score of the game and Jeron Harding made it 41-7 with 6:59 left in the game with a run from 4-yards out.
Delorme had 88 yards on just seven carries in the game. Harding collected 91 yards on eight carries and Garrett had 56 yards on 11. Peterson had four catches for 75 yards and Earleywine was 5 of 9 passing with no interceptions.

POTOSI - A late first half touchdown gave Potosi the lead for good. After Black Hawk received scores from Michael Walker and Michael Wolff, the Chieftains scored a touchdown as time expired in the second quarter, taking a 14-12 lead into the half.
Black Hawk tried to catch up late in the game, scoring on a six play, 67-yard drive on a 2-yard run by Wolff to make it 27-18. But a missed two point conversion and one final possession turned up empty for the Warriors.
In other action, undefeated Darlington dominated Cuba City, 49-0.
