MEQUON - Monroe's Kyle Bruce finished tied for 34th place at the Wisconsin State Junior Championship at the River Club of Mequon Wednesday.
Bruce shot a 5-over-77 in the final round, finishing the tournament 16 over par.
Bruce started his third round with double bogeys. He rebounded with 9 pars before a bogey on his 12th hole. He later birdied the 15th.
Charlie Danielson, of Osceola, won the tournament with a final score of 3 under par, thanks in large part to his 6-under-66 in the second round.
