The 6-foot-2 senior, who entered the game averaging 16.3 points per game, placed himself among the top 20 in the state in single-game scoring this season.
Brodhead (14-7, 10-5 Rock Valley South) will finish second to Clinton (20-1, 14-1) in the conference.
The Cardinals will close the regular season at Orfordville Parkview on Friday night.

BARNEVELD - Albany fell behind early and suffered from poor free throw shooting in Six Rivers East Conference action.
The Comets (8-12, 5-5 Six Rivers East) went 6 of 23 from the foul line and were unable to stop Barneveld's Sam Nechkash, who scored 18 points.
Sophomore Isaiah Shell scored 13 points and senior Ty Mauerman added 10 for the Comets.
Barneveld improved to 9-1 in the Six Rivers East stayed a game ahead of second-place Monticello.
