Brodhead-Juda finds success in triple-dual meet

EVANSVILLE - The Brodhead-Juda boys cross country team took top honors at Tuesday's triple-dual with Evansville and Orfordville Parkview.

Brodhead-Juda's Dan Drewes, Tate Harnack and Kyle Lockhart finished 1-2-3, with Drewes leading the way with a time of 18:26.

On the girls side, the Cardinals tied for third.

Shannon Klein was the top finisher for Brodhead-Juda, taking fifth overall with a time of 17:29.

At Saturday's adidas Invitational in Verona, Brodhead-Juda's girls team took ninth in the Division 2 and 3 race.

Freshman Camilla Klar (17:06) paced the Cardinals with a time of 17:05.5, good enough for 103rd place in the 227-person race.

Drewes set the pace for the boys team, which finished 11th, with a time of 18:06. Drewes crossed the finish line 141st overall in the 281-man field.
