Brodhead-Juda boys, girls run at Rock Valley Classic

EDGERTON - Sophomore Dylan Johnson was Brodhead-Juda's top finisher as he placed second in the 10th grade class at the Rock Valley Classic Cross Country Meet at Edgerton Tuesday. Johnson ran the course in 18:47, 16 seconds behind McFarland's Jack Howell who topped the 10th grade class with a time of 18:31. Justin Krumwiede also finished in the top ten as he finished ninth with a time of 20:12.

In the senior class, Tate Harnack was Brodhead-Juda's top finisher as he placed ninth in 18:18. Kramer Lewis was 25th for Brodhead-Juda with a time of 21:12. The junior class found Brodhead-Juda's Dillion Larson finishing ninth in 19:20 and Carter Jorgenson close behind in 12th place with a time of 19:38.

In the girls' meet, Brodhead-Juda's Erin Kettle was 10th in the senior class as she was clocked in 19:24. Caitlyn Phillips (26:18) was 20th in the senior class for Brodhead-Juda. The Cardinals didn't place anybody in the top ten in the junior class, but Judith Pinger was 23rd in 21:01 and Michaella Fleming was 25th in 21:16. Morgan Goecks, a sophomore, led the way for the Cardinals in the 10th grade class as she finished third with a time of 17:04. Camilla Klar came in 11th for the Cardinals in 18:24.
