DARLINGTON - Let's just say Redbirds fans got their money's worth during a 62-60 double-overtime Darlington victory over Boscobel Saturday night.

The Redbirds (9-6, 5-5 SWAL) rallied to force overtime with a 16-11 fourth quarter after Boscobel (8-7, 4-6) used a 17-7 third to put the host against the ropes.

After an 8-8 first extra session, the Redbirds got stingy in double-OT, 4-2, to pull out the victory.

Darlington's leading scorer this season, senior Mitchell Erickson, had 14 points in the thrilling victory and classmate Kyler Wiegel added a dozen.

ARGYLE 37, ALBANY 30

A tale of two halves kept Albany winless in the Six Rivers East on its home floor Saturday night.

The Comets (1-15, 0-10 Six Rivers East) took a 17-12 lead into the halftime locker room thanks to Argyle's 5-for-19 shooting mark from the stripe, but the Orioles (5-11, 2-8) scored 25 points in the second half to escape with a 37-30 victory.

Senior forward Kevin Berg paced Argyle with 10 points and upstart Albany sophomore Bryce Hulbert matched his frontcourt production with 10 points.

Argyle turns around on two days' rest when it travels to Shullsburg tonight.

JUDA 57, BELOIT TURNER 48

In the spirit of a big wrestling weekend, Juda's duo of Beau Benner and Kurtis Mansfield made like a Hall of Fame tag team.

Benner, a junior, scored a game-high 24 points while Mansfield, a senior point guard, added 21 for the Panthers (9-7 overall), who left nothing to mystery with an 18-9 opening quarter.

Trojans senior Jacob Trager led his club with 12 points, but it wasn't nearly enough for the Division 3 club to best the D-4 Panthers.

The Panthers have won back-to-back games after a four-game skid and hope to take their momentum to Blanchardville when they face Pecatonica tonight.
