MONROE - The Monroe Booster Club will host a four-person scramble on Friday, July 20 at the Monroe Country Club, 2205 21st St.
Registration is at 4:30 p.m. and the shotgun start will be at 5:30 p.m. The cost is $50 per person and includes 9-holes of golf, a golf court, food and music.

The golf outing is a new fundraiser for the booster club. The club raises money for sports programs at the high school through various fundraising activities like selling concessions.
Some of the past contributions from the booster club include: painting the gym, the purchase of new volleyball nets, a sound system for soccer, a score board for softball, a press box for baseball and an end zone camera for football. The booster club also awards scholarships each spring to student athletes who excel in sports and with their grades.
