LAKE MILLS - Senior Trisha Boley and sophomore Sierra Watrud scored goals and senior goalkeeper Raylynn Jelle had five saves to lead the Sugar River girls soccer team to a 2-0 victory against Lake Mills in Capitol Conference play Tuesday.
Boley's goal came at 3:44 on a header courtesy of junior Karly Anderson's well-placed corner kick to give the Raiders (13-5-2, 6-1-0 Capitol Conference) a 1-0 lead.
In the second half, junior Elle Joseph got an assist on a perfect pass to Watrud, who scored in the 42nd minute.
