SOUTH WAYNE - Black Hawk junior Josh Meier had a big second half to propel the Warriors boys basketball team to a 54-42 win over Juda Tuesday night.

Meier scored 11 of his game-high 15 points in the second half to lead the Warriors. After Juda cut the Warriors' lead to six points in the second half, Meier knocked down a 3-pointer with about 9 minutes to go to push the lead back to nine.

With the win, Black Hawk (2-0, 1-0 Six Rivers East) stays unbeaten. Juda (2-2, 0-1 Six Rivers East) played without junior Matt Schmitt, the team's leading scorer. Schmitt missed the game due to an injury.
