DARLINGTON - The Darlington-Cuba City girls golf team split a double-dual with Lancaster and Southwestern Monday at the Darlington Country Club.
The Redbirds lost to Lancaster, 181-196, but defeated Southwestern (263).
Nellie Black paced the field with a 4-over-par 39.
"Nellie had a fantastic day," said Gary Ringen, Darlington-Cuba City coach.
Ringen said Black's score came after a two-stroke penalty for going out of bounds. Black birdied the par 5 second hole.
Shelby Poss shot a 46, Naomi Black carded a 51 and Erica McCormish and Kayla Paquette each finished with a 60 for the Redbirds.
Darlington's junior varsity topped Lancaster, 246-302.
