RICHLAND CENTER - Darlington junior Kaylee Meyers scored a team-high 19 points to help the Redbirds roll to a 64-36 win over Richland Center in a nonconference game Tuesday.
Darlington (5-2, 2-0 SWAL) raced out to a 31-11 lead over the Hornets at the half. Redbirds junior Kathleen Mathias had 12 points, and senior Kennedy Rankin and junior Reagan Crist each chipped in 8 points.
Brodhead 69, Edgerton 55
EDGERTON - Brodhead senior Erin Nyhus scored a game-high 22 points to lead the Cardinals to a Rock Valley Conference win over Edgerton Tuesday.
Cardinals senior Brooke Bescup added 14 points and junior Alexis Oliver pitched in with 10. Both Nyhus and Bescup hit two 3-pointers.
Brodhead (4-4, 2-4 Rock Valley) jumped out to a 21-point lead at the half, 37-16. The Cardinals made 12 of 19 free throws while the Crimson Tide made 13 of 17.
