NEW GLARUS - Junior Gavin Binger scored a game-high 26 points to help the Glarner Knights roll to a 63-48 win over Cambridge Friday.
Both New Glarus and Cambridge were tied at 26 at the half. With the Blue Jays switching to a 2-3 zone to start the third quarter, the Knights went on a 16-5 run to seal the win.
"That was the turning point of the game," New Glarus coach Travis Sysko said. "We had some really good movement against the zone. The boys did a good job of moving without the ball. We struggled against zones earlier in the year. The guys did a good job of attacking it. It's good the hard work is starting to pay off for them and show."
New Glarus senior Tanner Hofer added nine points. Cambridge was led by J.T. Parish, who scored a team-high 23 points.
