ELROY - The Black Hawk-Darlington wrestling team was no challenge for Fennimore as the Eagles rolled to a 57-12 win over the Warrior-Redbirds in a WIAA Division 3 sectional semifinal Tuesday at Royall High School.
Black Hawk-Darlington won just three matches. At 132 pounds, Grady Rielly defeated Fennimore's Zach Davis 8-3. At heavyweight, Black Hawk-Darlington's Jacob Tuescher beat Fennimore's Deven O'Brien 4-1. Conrad Blosch (182) received a forfeit.

SPRING GREEN - Evansville-Albany won five matches and lost a WIAA Division 2 sectional semifinal to River Valley.
Evansville-Albany's Dakota Ringhand (182) defeated River Valley's Brock Mahoney 9-2. Teammate Clay Spooner (220) beat River Valley's Jordan Slaney 10-4, and Nolan Kicmol (132) defeated River Valley's Nate Jennings 15-5. Evansville-Albany's Jordan Meyer (145) edged River Valley's Gavin Wipperfurth 1-0. Lucius Rinehart (195) received a forfeit.
