JUDA - Beau Benner pitched a complete game three-hitter as the Panthers held off the Orioles 3-0.

"Once again we got a great start and outing from Beau," Juda coach Kyle Krueger said. "He just keeps on getting better and more comfortable on the mound."

Benner finished with 13 strikeouts and no walks.

In the first inning, Juda (3-4, 3-1 Six Rivers East) scored twice when Bryan Bauman hit a two-RBI infield single. In the third, Steve West singled, stole second and scored on an Aaron Duecker base hit.

"I would have liked to see us get a few more across," Krueger said after the Panthers left 12 men on base. "That's too many. However, credit Argyle. They made the plays when needed."

West finished the game 3-for-3, Duecker was 2-3 and Bauman was 2-2.

Bohlman also pitched for the Orioles, finishing with nine Ks, five walks and eight hits.
