BRODHEAD - The Brodhead-Juda Cardinals learned a lot about the importance of quality over quantity Thursday night.
While the hosts and Beloit Turner split their 14 wrestling matches down the middle, the Trojans' ability to pin more shoulder blades to the mat was the difference in a 42-23 Rock Valley decision.
The only Trojans' victory that didn't come via pinfall was a forfeit. No Cardinals were able to turn their opponents for pins, but 135-pounder Tyler Lincoln did manage to pitch a 9-0 shutout in his match.
Brodhead-Juda next travels to Saturday's Deerfield Invitational.
