Belmont shoots past Albany

BELMONT - Lane Kempf scored a game-high 17 points to power Belmont to a 70-50 win over Albany in a non-conference game Monday. Belmont (3-1) led by just two points after the first quarter. The Braves broke the game open outscoring the Comets 24-8 in the second quarter to take an 18-point lead at the half.
