Baseball, softball signups begin in Monroe

MONROE - City of Monroe Parks and Recreation announced its summer activities.



Little League Baseball

Little League is a parent/volunteer coached program under the direction of the Park and Recreation Department. Parents/volunteers will hold practices and coach the games. Practices start in May during the week and weekends depending on coach's preference and availability. Registration is open until April 12. Those who have not registered before April 12 can contact the Parks and Recreation office at 608-329-2460 to see if spots are still available.



American League

American League is for boys entering fourth through fifth grade and will be held on Wednesdays, from June 5 through July 17. The cost is $28 for residents and $38 non-residents.



National League

National League is for boys entering sixth through seventh grade and will be held on Wednesdays from June 5 through July 17. The cost is $28 for residents and $38 non-residents.



Girls Softball

Girls softball is a parent/volunteer coached program under the direction of the Park and Recreation Department. Parents/volunteers will hold practices and coach the games. Senior League is for girls entering seventh through ninth grade and will be held Mondays from June 3 through July 22. The cost is $28 for Residents and $38 for non-residents.
