MONROE - Two Monroe girls basketball players were named honorable mention Badger South All-Conference recently.
Both seniors Taylor Barrett and Kirsten Vetterli were named honorable mention all-conference. Vetterli averaged a team-leading 7.9 points per game for the Cheesemakers. Barrett (6.5 ppg) also was a key cog in leading the Cheesemakers to a 6-17 mark and a fifth place finish in the conference.
Monroe ended the season with a 42-26 loss to Mount Horeb.
