JUDA - Barneveld senior Hannah Whitish scored a game-high 19 points to power the Eagles to a 60-27 win over Juda Thursday.
Whitish, a Nebraska recruit, hit three of the Eagles' six 3-pointers. Mia Whitish added 15 points.
Juda senior Chelsea Burkhalter scored a team-high 10 points.
The Panthers trailed the top-ranked Division 5 team 36-7 at the half.
"They got off to a good start and we had to get out of a hole," Juda coach Curt Brown said. "It's kind of pick your poison. You try to take away Hannah Whitish, but they have a million other kids who can make plays. When you play the No. 1 ranked team in the state you know you are getting the best team. We played better in the second half."
Juda will play at Argyle on Tuesday.
"We will have to get ready for their pressure," Brown said. "They have played a tough schedule. It's usually a good battle when we play them."
In other action, New Glarus rolled over Albany 71-24. New Glarus improves to 5-1. No other information was available.
